Dangerous Mud on Road - Stathern, 16th February
There is a significant amount of very slippery mud on the road around the junction of Harby Lane and Long Lane, Stathern. The mud extends about 100m in the directions of Stathern & Harby. The mud seems to have originated from the livestock fields on Harby Lane (Howard Coy's farm, I believe).
These roads are used a lot by cyclists (including those competing in time trial races), motorcyclists & car drivers (many of whom are young & inexperienced due to there being limited public transport in this rural area). These three groups are at particular risk of this mud but it is a danger to all road users.
