Running water, 27th January
The manhole has had running water coming out of it for months, some work was done on it yesterday but now its flowing out even worse, this froze last week and the ice was 4’wide into the road by 50’+ along the road, when driving cars we’re having to cross onto the opposite carriage way to avoid it! The danger to the public is terrible, your solution was to put a ice sign out, this is not acceptable, the leak needs repair.

Pot holes some dangerous, 28th December
Please can you sort out the pot holes that are developing on kings road due to the high amount of traffic using kings road due Thorpe road being closed. One of which is dangerous. I live here and would rather you close the road completely to stop traffic using kings road and force them to go around via scalford which is the official diversion. It’s becoming dangerous especially from next week when the school traffic returns. Thanks

Dangerous road junction for pedestrians, 27th December
Crossing the road from Chapel Street carpark, over kings street, none of the left-turning cars give away to pedestrians. Everyday, I try to step out to cross this road and NEVER (over 30 times) has a car stopped for me. Part of the problem comes from this being a rat-run between A607 to A606, exacerbated by the poor visibility caused by parked busses at the bus stop on Chapel Street. Car are regularly seen flying around here at close to 30mph where the visibility doesn't allow for manoeuvres at that speed. This needs better signage, a painted crossing, a traffic island, or a safe pedestrian crossing.

Increasing amounts of graffiti, 18th August
This is the second report I have submitted regarding this blight of graffiti at this location. During the past few weeks I have noticed new graffiti which have been sprayed or painted on buildings which form part of the cattle market and now include the wall directly adjacent to the fire station. They really need removing as it’s a very negative approach to the town to visitors travelling from Nottingham.
