A vehicle advertising a local coffee shop (The Joyful Deli, Addingham) is being left parked in a lay-by for advertising purposes only. The lay-by is there for road users prior to proceeding onto a dual carriageway and this van is causing a disruption to it's proper use and purpose. The van appears to have been parked there on a permanent basis for a number of months, it is definitely there throughout the day. I know this as I use this route regularly.

A large van has apparently been abandoned on ground at the side of Old Lane, Addingham. It has "Highway Maintenance, Welfare Unit" printed in large letters on the back and side. It may belong to some private individual, but from it's situation, it is suspicious!, 3rd March

The lamp glass is covered inside with dead insects. I would do it myself (with help;) but I was once advised that it is dangerous to tamper with street lighting.

Uneven surface due to sunken trench, 22nd August
The road surface is in urgent need of resurfacing due to a sunken surface on a trench dug, some years ago, for services (possibly water). To negotiate the problem, traffic has to straddle the white line near the junction of Ilkley Road and Old Lane. The road to the wast has been resurfaced, but the same rosd to the east is in worse repair than that already resurfaced.

Speed, 16th March
Please could we have a 30 mph sign on this road. The speed by some vehicles is frightening as there is now what seems to be a sort of industrial site at Grays farm and too many vehicles pass up and down from there. it is a narrow road and very difficult when two vehicles meet.
