Hello This section of road is literally falling apart. The potholes are too numerous to count. It's extremely dangerous to cyclists / motor cyclists who use this section of the road, plus of course the risk of damage to cars. The road has been allowed to continue to deteriorate over recent years.

From harrogate to leeds turing to a659 is very dangerous as the main road a61 vehicles are on 60mph .narrow turing and no line of visibility .needs speed restriction from hare wood to after the hare wood bridge.

Very poor visibility when turning right off A61 onto A659 due overgrown vegetation, 21st August
Vegetation in verge is growing outwards as well as upwards obscuring view of traffic coming from Pool direction. This junction is dangerous enough without an extra hazard such as this. Have reported to Leeds CC today via their website

Mattress dumped in bridleway entrance to Harewood Estate, 29th April
Mattress dumped on bridleway access to Harewood Estate on the sharp bend off Eccup Lane. Dangerous bend and horses likely to be spooked out into road as it suddenly comes into their eyeline. Only been there a couple of days but this is a dangerous bend.

Road markings, 1st September
At the junction of the A61 and the A659 the road markings are almost completely worn away. This is highly dangerous for vehicles turning right into A659 as the lane markings are so indistinct that they could be hit by Harrogate-bound traffic cutting the corner. I have had some near misses while waiting to turn, particularly at night
