FIXMYSTREET IN LS13 1RG
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LS13 1RG:
Traffic Management from Parkside on to Fink Hill needs reassessing, 7th March
Since the changes have been made to the A6120 Broadway Horsforth, there have been problems coming up from Parkside, turning right on to said road and then turning left up Fink Hill. The previous filter light sequence has been removed and consequently this can cause a backup of cars from Parkside wishing to go left. This morning I was blocking the central reservation, with cars beeping at me as I had no available space to manuoeuvre in to. I travel that way to work and have witnessed this happening on several occasions.

Cars parked on double yellows, 4th March
Cars continually parked on double yellows, doesn't help that the lines are in the cycle path and not on the road. This makes it easy for a cyclist to get left hooked when a car turns into the junction here and claims they did not see the cyclist due to the illegally parked cars

Too many people park illegally at drop off and pick up from school times, 26th September
No one observes the double or single yellow lines. I have a blue badge and should be allowed to use the yellow lines area but it's always full from the turning circle to the corner.
Parking attendants usually nip this problem in the bud and then time goes on and people continue to do it. Maybe a sign would help. Maybe disabled parking spots also.

“no parking sign” installed attempting to stop residents parking on unadopted road, 29th August
A “no parking access required” sign has been installed on a back garden fence which backs onto an unadopted road which forms part of Springbank Close. Part of the fence has recently been altered to become a gate large enough for the owner to get a vehicle through, which is parked in their back garden. Prior to this development residents of the unadopted road have parked parallel to said garden fence for years. The owner of this fence does not reside on the unadopted road and has front access to their residence, including a double drive and dropped kerb on the main public road adjacent. The area of land which their sign is trying to prevent people from parking is not within their boundary and is in fact within the boundary of a resident of said unadopted road. Are they able to enforce such a sign or can it be removed?

Trees too big, blocking street light & overhanging property, 19th August
There are two trees which have now grown too big for their location. They are obscuring a street light which results in the end of the cul-de-sac being very dark at night. The two trees are now overhanging the road and private property. If they could be cut right back or even removed, that would be good.
