There is a long stretch of broken tarmac on the joint between lanes one and two of the westbound carriageway. It is more than a single pothole and whilst its not such a problem in a car, on a motorcycle it is a much more serious issue with loss of control being a likely possibility. The damage stretches from Levens junction to past the Gilpin Bridge junction. It has been like this for some time and is now getting seriously bad.

The slip road crossing the bypass, 10th April
The road is in a terrible condition there is large potholes making it very dangerous to cross the bypass (which is already a dangerous junction) the road has been in a bad condition for 2 months but has progressively deteriorated over the last 2 weeks I now travel a different way to work as I find the road too dangerous to use

The road markings ion the A590 at Gilpin Bridge have faded to a point where they are obscure and not fit for purpose

Speed Camera - constant flashing, 13th April
The speed camera is flashing every 2 seconds at cars travelling below the speed limit. This occurred when travelling the road at approx 9:30am today, 13-04-22.

Faulty safety camera, 14th November
On A590 Cumbria between the villages of beckhead and millside going eastbound there is a safety camera that constantly flashes once at random intervals. No traffic present and does dazzle when going westbound. Location is approx but is that area.

Pothole over white lines, 20th February
There is a long pothole the length of and under 3 white lins in the middle of the westbound carageway. I nearly crashed today when I went yo overtake, and hit it.

Potholes, 31st August
Potholes on the inside of the bend. The road in great in general but just on the inside of the bend there are couple of potholes which are quite deep. This road is used by cyclists quite regularly and forces them into the middle of road and can catch them out as the rest of the road is near perfect.

Anti Deer Reflecting Posts - now laid on ground, 14th April
These mirror-clad short posts were installed as a local initiative to keep deer off the road 'Contractor' Verdge tree clearing has recently taken place on the north side verdge Subsequently, the deer posts have just been scattered on the verdge

Ramps needed, 14th March
The potholes have joined ranks on both sides of the A590 just where the dual carriageway starts/finishes. If these were roadworks there would be ramps signs warning you that the road surface was dropping down a step. Since someone else reported it mid February I hope it is on the Highway's programme of works because a large area needs urgent attention

Tarmac has broken away over large areas- the resurfacing from a few years back has not proved durable at all.

Snow and ice, 27th December
This is a council road on which the school bus runs and has been unable to travel on, also their are people with buisnesses ei the kennels and cattery to run and are unable to get their customers to them, also farmers which are unable to get the bulk tank on,sorry to trouble you at such a busy time but hope you are able to do something about this problem.
