Flytipping Wain LAne, 31st October
Flytipping near the top of Wain lane. Carpets, plastic and card tubing dumped near gates to fields. Popular walking/beauty spot. Very narrow track not sure how they managed to get there. Needs picking up.

Very dangerous crossing for hotel guests, 23rd October
The hotel brings a massive contribution to the economy.
Please do something so that guests including elderly and children can safely cross the busy main road to get to the pier and watersports centre. A 20mph zone with a zebra crossing and speed humps would be brilliant.
My wife and I are in our thirties and used to busy roads and found it challenging to cross.

Road drains blocked - causing flooding, 13th December
3 road drains are blocked ,2 at the bottom of Bridge Lane and 1 opposite on the A591. the issue has been overlooked for ages. They cause flooding on normal rainy day the situation is becoming worse.

Crossing required, 31st October
First noticed on Thu, 31 Oct 2013.
I see this as high priority.
I reported this in 2012 having had a scare trying to cross with a pushchair and walking child.
The pavement runs out on the lakeside, and there is no means to cross apart from forcing traffic to stop by stepping out, but this is an extremely busy section of road to try this.
For families walking or cycling from Ambleside to Brockhole its dangerous. This is in addition to guests of the hotel trying to cross.

Blocked road drains, 24th November
The road drains along the A591 between the council depot and Troutbeck Bridge are blocked with silt . The road was severly flooded on Thursday 22 Nov 2012. This is old silt not new leaves

Hedge Overhanging and Obstructing pavement., 3rd July
An incorrect place marker on the map may be shown in the first message. It's opposite the junction with Moorhowe Road. This hedge overhangs and obstructs the pavement to such a degree that one is forced to walk in the road with back to the traffic on this fast busy A592. Last year the bottom part of the hedge was cut back but the top of the hedge was left to obstruct pedestrians.

Frequent Flooding, 25th January
After prolonged rain, the A591 has deep floods here, and can be impassable. The drainage holes in the wall by the lake are not adequate: replacing a section of wall with railings would help, but effective drainage under the road may be necessary. The A591 is an important route, and should not be subject to this problem.
