Potholes and road crumbled away, 20th February
The whole stretch of road from before Hartley Ground to Hawes Farm is severely eroded and potholed. At least 15-20 potholes, some impossible to navigate around. The road to Hawes Farm has been impossible for small cars to use as it’s eroded and covered in small stones.

Becoming very difficult with a normal car to negotiate road between Silver Meadow through Croglinhurst to Wood House. I have a damaged wheel rim probably caused by dropping into a hole. Been present for at least 6 months and getting worse..

Pot holes and delamination of road surface, 12th September
Poor road condition leading to vibrations felt in neighbouring properties when vehicles pass.
Small crack appeared in wall of one property adjacent to pot hole.
Area of road previously had speed bump removed for same issue.
The area in question starts around Syke End/ Syke House Offices and continues up the hill.

Extreme levels of plastic pollution, 23rd February
Farm waste generally from big bale wrappers spreading for at least one kilometre from the farm. Black plastic is present in hedges, trees and grassland all around the area. I have rescued a rook completely entangled in plastic wrap hanging upside down in a nearby hedge. The level of contamination is frightening.

Large number of deep potholes., 17th February
The entire length of road from Lane End Farm to Low Bleansley Farm (about a mile) Is littered with deep potholes. Particularly on the stretch of road from The Lickle Bridge To Kitscar. Very difficult to negotiate even in a 4X4, dangerous for cycle and mitorbikes and when it rains it floods badly and it is not possible to walk down the road. I have losds of photos, but they won’t load. The road hss been in this condition for months

Defective street light, 9th January
Street light attached to the wall above the butchers shop has gone out. Has been defective for 3 days now. This is a dark corner of Broughton and is now hazardous for pedestrians and road users.

Bollard missing at steep part narrowing on Church Street, 30th March
Recently replaced - inadequately - not enough depth or solidity so that the first vehicle to hit it, took it out and drove on virtually unscathed. Speed is once again a huge issue and my next-door-neighbours car, when parked in the lay-by almost opposite, was hit by someone driving v fast and obliviously of those coming up .

Tarmac has been laid on the pavement up to the level of my front door and is causing a ingress of water causing severe damage, 22nd May

Large area of disintegrating road surface., 16th February
On the down hill side, there is a large area of random potholes. It is impossible for a cyclist to weave their way through them! Cyclists likely to get hit whilst swerving round them or puncture and fall off into fast moving traffic.
