Thanks for re-mounting the give way sign at this dangerous junction. Unfortunately it is facing in the wrong direction. This is at best confusing, at worst, very dangerous. Junction is the scene of many serious accidents.

Tree fallen onto telephone wires, 15th October
There is a dead tree which has fallen onto the telephone wire and is resting very heavily on it, bending the wire down significantly. The tree is located in the roadside verge some 25 downhill from Thwaites School.. The entire verge is very overgrown with medium and large trees and this is the second such event in less than a year.

Blocked road drain, 8th August
The road drain outside my property is half full of runoff soil and gravel which has blocked the outflow to the main surface water drains. Overflows within minutes in heavy rain and threatens to flood my house. As it is near the bottom of a hill, the flow of water is at some speed. Ideally new drain needed nearer top of slope to cope with water from further up the road

Broken limb of tree resting on BT cables on Chapel Brow, 29th March
There is a limb of a tree in the road verge which has broken from the trunk and is resting on the BT cable close to the pole. The line is working but if the limb continues to fall it may be brought down. I have phoned BT but they told me this is the responsibility of the council to rectify as it is in council land

Large potholeat junction of A5093 and A595 It is as one approaches the A595 from The Green. It is a distraction at a busy and dangerous junction.

Almost 50% of the street lights along Green Road are not working. This is a country lane with no pavements so you risk life and limb walking down there at present. Please repair these asap, 22nd December
When you walk down the road after dusk, as there are no pavements you cannot be easily seen by vehicles as at least 50% of the street lights along Green Road are not working. The speed limit on the road is at present 70 mph and believe it or not some drivers use this to speed down the road without thought of pedestrians. Someone will be seriously injured or even killed if these lights are not repaired asap.
