Pot holes and delamination of road surface, 12th September
Poor road condition leading to vibrations felt in neighbouring properties when vehicles pass.
Small crack appeared in wall of one property adjacent to pot hole.
Area of road previously had speed bump removed for same issue.
The area in question starts around Syke End/ Syke House Offices and continues up the hill.

Large number of deep potholes., 17th February
The entire length of road from Lane End Farm to Low Bleansley Farm (about a mile) Is littered with deep potholes. Particularly on the stretch of road from The Lickle Bridge To Kitscar. Very difficult to negotiate even in a 4X4, dangerous for cycle and mitorbikes and when it rains it floods badly and it is not possible to walk down the road. I have losds of photos, but they won’t load. The road hss been in this condition for months

Defective street light, 9th January
Street light attached to the wall above the butchers shop has gone out. Has been defective for 3 days now. This is a dark corner of Broughton and is now hazardous for pedestrians and road users.

Potholes getting increasingly large, would have thought when spending time at Wreaks level, doing the substandard resurfacing there, that these would have been also dealt with (time and money)

Large pothole at least 8 inches deep, 20th October
There are very deep pot holes on this stretch which are often flooded and blend into the standing water on the road. I hit one of these potholes in the dark this morning whilst avoiding an oncoming vehicle, the tyre deflated and the wheel is damaged.

Street light not working, 30th March
A parishioner has complained that this light has been out for months, making it quite dangerous on dark nights. And actually in the light of the recent concerns about women's safety I think you need to get broken lights fixed. But do keep light pollution to a minimum.

Bollard missing at steep part narrowing on Church Street, 30th March
Recently replaced - inadequately - not enough depth or solidity so that the first vehicle to hit it, took it out and drove on virtually unscathed. Speed is once again a huge issue and my next-door-neighbours car, when parked in the lay-by almost opposite, was hit by someone driving v fast and obliviously of those coming up .

Road Closed Sign, 22nd February
Road closed sign up at Duddon Bridge. I am not sure why. There hasn't been any weather worthy of closing the road for a good few days now.
Leaving the sign up for too long causes problems as people begin to ignore it when it really is closed. Please get on top of reopening the road and removing the sign at an appropriate time.

Tarmac has been laid on the pavement up to the level of my front door and is causing a ingress of water causing severe damage, 22nd May
