The tarmac outside the Mid in Furness Building at 64 School Street was partially re-laid a number of years ago and the double yellow lines were not repainted so there is a gap. There are no parking restriction signs on this section of road either and therefore people are free to park there. The issue is that opposite this section of road there is a marked bay for 2 cars for 1 hour parking and if people park in those bays as well as at 64 School Street the road is impassable.

Road markings missing, 7th May
The zigzag road markings outside the school are almost completely gone in places, every day a few parents park on the zigzags, they could claim they can’t see any road markings

Large, dangerous potholes on Abbotsmead Approach Barrow, 30th April
This/these potholes have been here fir about three months. The Westmorland and Furness Council have not repaired them following three reports on the problem which I have submitted to them. They are getting deeper by the day as our street is being used as a rat run by vehicles living on the new housing estates on either side of Flass Lane.

Blockedroad gulley causing flooding, 5th April
Gulley blocked and never maintained regurlarily- full of leaves s debris as toad never swept. Everytime heavy rainfall happens the road floods over the footpath making it impassable- gulley need jetting.

Pavement being used constantly for storing and selling of cars by the dealer at this location, due to the amount of vehicles and the way they are left the pavement is constantly being reduced and or no clear straight path for pedestrians, the photos provided are 3 consecutive days.

Speeding, 10th March
Cars use Tesco Extra Barrow as a shortcut to get to Walney. Cars speed through the carpark, treating the road like a main road. Dangerous for pedestrians and children. Speedbumps and traffic calming required.
