There are two ‘massive’ pot holes in the road., 25th February
These are very wide and very deep. They are in the same vicinity of road around 100 yards apart from one another - you cannot miss them (both visually / metaphorically and physically speaking), which means cars have to swerve to avoid them causing additional dangers to other road users.

Accident waiting to happen, 31st March
I would like a review of the speed limit and road signage at this corner of the A5087 at Bardsea.
There is a takeaway cafe / icecream outlet located on the lane side of the road and people cross the road from the beach side of the road, where they park. Crossing towards the beach is a blind corner from whichever point you cross in one of the directions.
The cafe has just reopened following lockdown and I have already witnessed one near miss of a pedestrian.
The outlet has put in for planning permission to increase the volume of its business which is great but this will just mean more pedestrians crossing the road. Something needs to be done to slow the traffic in this stretch of the road, especially from the ulverston direction. In my opinion the speed limit should reduce to 20mph at the end of Cooper Lane Bardsea all the way to past the Old Mill, which is also a black spot for people crossing. A gentleman has already been killed in recent years crossing by the old mill.

Oil Spillage on Road, 9th January
There has been a significant oil spillage on the road at White Ghyll Lane. Although the council have tried to address the problem by spreading a small amount of sand in a discrete area the problem still remains. There are areas where the road is very slippy. Some local residents are so concerned that they have tried to disperse the oil using a high pressure hose however it needs further attention.
