Road needs tarmacaddam., 14th May

Sat, 14 May 2016 08:04:27 +0100
56.171598 -3.246406

There is three houses not served with a Tarmacaddam roadway, its disgusting, they done the bottom half of the road in the 70"s when they built a police station altough thats redundant now. This issues been present for a long time, residents are petitioning and getting knowhere, its only 80 yards long the area that needs tarred. Worst case scenario Fife Council, they could even drop down old tar plainings that they pay to have taken away and a machine grade them out jcb, and that wld be netter than nothing. Or they should not charge us so much in poll tac as a result off no tarred road outside our houses. Its a Danm joke.

Very dangerous junction with lack of road markings, 24th February

Mon, 24 Feb 2014 15:48:40 +0000
56.1754245452543 -3.2349748518677

This junction is a mini roundabout with a brand new estate on one side of it, with constant traffic trying to come into and exit the new estate. Cars park right on the junction and vehicles have to play chicken to get round them and avoid being hit. The police have reports of numerous collisions on this junction, and as children walk to school across this junction, it desperately needs clear road marking and double yellow lines to stop residents parking on the junction to make it safer. Please could this be looked at asap? Thank you.

Dangerous Footpath, 19th September

Wed, 19 Sep 2012 21:01:46 +0100
56.171811330587 -3.2449820733181

In March this year I reported this danger and advised that sooner or later someone was in danger of having a serious accident. I again phoned in April and was told that it had been passed on but would be followed up. When I phoned again in May I was told that the Council had changed their computer system and no record could be found. I contacted a Local Councillor who said they would look into it, having had no reply I again contacted the Councillor in July who said it had been passed on but would follow it up after their holidays. Still nothing was done so I contacted the Provost's office who spoke to the relevant department who agreed that there was a serious drainage problem and work was scheduled to start in early September. These photos were taken today (19/9) and clearly show nothing has been done.I walk up and down this this road taking a toddler to the local nursery with a baby in a pram. (as do other people) There is no alternative other than walk on the outside of the safety barrier on the main road or cross the main road then cross back after passing this puddle. If it is wet weather the puddle is much worse. It is on the footpath outside what used to be a hotel prior to be being converted into houses at West End. I would like this to be be rectified before a serious accident occurs.

The pathways in the Viking Play Park in Kinglassie are well known on a good day to be muddy, after all the rain we've had the park is just a quagmire. Some form of drainage is desperately needed. Also there is only one dog bin in the park which as far as I know is the only one in the entire village. We need more.
