Inconsistent info on road closure A914, 25th October
The A914 is being closed at Clushford Toll every night for road works. The road closure - according to the signs onsite is being effected from 19:00 every night and when I pass about 18:45 the teams look ready to swing into action. Unfortunately, all the advance warning signs I have seen, on the A92 at the top of the Freuchie Brae, and at the Haugh Park and South Road in Cupar, all say that the closure takes effect at 21:00 daily.
I can see this leading to a lot of frustration for drivers who only pass through the district periodically, and might lead to adverse publicity for the Council.

Loose gravel on A916 Garliebank, 27th May
There is a significant amount of loose gravel on the A916, northbound towards Cupar, at the point where you are looking forwards to the Damside Mill and Cupar Muir, and are just about to take a right-hand bend to go downhill to Cupar. Using free internet locational software I estimate the location to be approximately OS Grid ref NO 36695 12306 or 56.298941N -3.0245233W
This is not affecting cars and lorries as it is in the area between their tyres, but any moror or pedal cyclist in the middle of their own side of the road is likely to have a nasty tumble.

Road Closed for No Reason, 9th July
Do you the council think we are all stupid? The road was closed because of a local flood and was cleared TWO days ago!!! You have kept it closed so you can put down red chips on a footpath!!!
In the meantime due to your total disrespect for the PUBLIC we have to drive extra miles + you didn't even bother to put up diversion signs for people trying to get to our village. If you bothered to clean the drains out properly (not just pour water on them so it looks like you did) you wouldn't put us all through this every time it rains!!!
The only thing that goes down the drains in Cupar is our Council Tax paying you
Ohh and lastly I will be e-mailing Mr Menzies Campbell to inform him that you have cut off Springfield deliberately, (with photos).
