Debris on Pavement and Road, 28th February

Thu, 28 Feb 2019 23:36:27 +0000
56.177076 -3.410879

Thanks for trimming the trees and hedges. However extremely disappointed with the mess left behind. It's not safe to walk on the pavement with our dogs, children in prams and anyone using a mobility scooter. When the pavement ends the road is no better. You have to walk on opposite side of road with no pavement, facing wrong direction for on coming traffic. Very dangerous as cars don't stick to 30 mph on this road. This road is extremely well used by dog walkers, cyclists and drivers. Does the council want car repair and vet bills?

Street light cover blown off in wind and exposing bulb, 17th August

The tape that held the light together from the last time (2016) has finally come apart and the light covering has dropped to the ground luckily missing my car for the second time.. There is now an exposed bulb with no protection from the outside elements and it is getting rattled a little from a tree. The streetlight is located in Hatchbank Lane beside house number 4.

Overgrown verge reducing visibility, 21st June

Thu, 21 Jun 2018 09:17:00 +0100
56.167118 -3.400769

This issue has arisen in the last few weeks, where vegetation on the verge has grown to a height where it is now difficult to see oncoming traffic heading north on the B996 to Kinross when stopped at the B9097 junction. I find myself having to edge out onto the B996 in order to see if it is safe for me to pull out, although this can be risky as traffic on the 996 moves very fast.

Dangerous hump in the road, 12th March

Mon, 12 Mar 2018 12:03:22 +0000
56.161048 -3.398818

There is a dangerous full-width bump in the road by the mobile home site (Greenacres) which, when you drive over it, causes your vehicle to rise and drop sharply, causing potential damage to tyres, wheels and suspension, hurts your back and damages business stock you're carrying i.e. wedding cakes, and it also causes loss of traction with the road surface. This could cause a car to lose control in this heavily tree-lined road with several driveway entrances close by. Motorbikes are especially at risk of losing control and collisions because of this hump in the road. This was reported to you 3 years ago and nothing has been done. It is well known to local drivers but anyone not aware of it will have serious problems if they drive it at 40mph or more. Please can you look at it asap - thank you.

Over grown shrubs and low branches, 16th September

Wed, 16 Sep 2015 09:49:34 +0100
56.176557 -3.412859

Heading from poo bin on hatchbank road over bridge and up the road to the stables. Path is over grown and tree branches are low. Grass verge on other side is over grown so can't walk on that. This is the worst it's been in 5 years. It's that bad that at some bits you can't walk on the pavement. Cars go far to fast on this road and not safe to do so especially at night. It's got that bad that we can't get the mobility scooter up the pavement unless on the road. This pavement is used daily as there are at least 12 dogs being walked daily. If you have a child and pram it's single file. Please advise action going to be taken. Thanks
