Litter/dog waste bin requires emptying again., 6th March
The litter/dog waste bin requires emptying once again. It’s full up and people are starting to leave bags of dog poop on the top instead! I’m not sure if this bin is monitored by the council regarding regular emptying as I have raised this issue about it overflowing more than once. It’s located on the very corner of the green area opposite Low Road. Can it be emptied as soon as possible and monitored for regular future emptying
Thank you.

Council GLASS WASTE bin constantly left abandoned in the street., 24th January
This GLASS WASTE bin ( purple lidded bin. ) is forever left abandoned on Low Road. It is never emptied as it’s full of rubbish ( not glass alone ) so the council don’t empty it. ( and rightly so. ) In the storms it tipped and rubbish blew everywhere. I uprighted it as it was near my parked car and I lifted and disposed of broken glass from it incase anyone got injured. I’m the bin belongs to one of the flats/houses on the slope up to High Road. Can this be investigated and removed, it shouldn’t be allowed to sit there permanently as the rubbish blowing out of it or tipped from it is unsightly and the spilled glass is dangerous…also it’s potentially going to damage parked cars as it sits there permanently.
Thank you.

Council property at 4a Low Road Ayr, KA89RY, 11th January
The council owned flat at 4,a Low Road,AYR KA89RY has dumped rubbish in their garden ( below the balcony. ) which has been there for months now. The rubbish includes a double bed mattress, flooring of some sort and other waste/junk. It’s unsightly and when it’s windy litter blows everywhere. A sheet of flooring blew on to the road and could have damaged other residents cars. As mentioned it’s been there for ages so it looks like the occupant is doing nothing to have it removed. Other street residents shouldn’t have to look at this mess so can the council please look into this issue and take steps to have it removed/tidied up.
Thank you.

Parking and leaving vehicles all day or all week etc, 12th December
/ dwellings on lilybank road are nearly all owned by elderly residents /problem we have is that a large amount of people leave vehicles here and go away all day or sometimes longer ,therefore when the residents come back they cannot get parked , there is one disabled parking bay in the street and many of the residents would qualify for possible bays installed, but have managed to speak to others not to go down this route until we have explored other means ,we are up for any suggestions as we have gathered a few ourselves, cannot understand why they cannot use the perfectly sized car park at pleasant field road which is basically only next street ,we feel there alot of ideas some as simple as turning street into one way this stopping cars coming in from top, eliminating the cars using it to bypass congestion, others would probably not want to go all way round just to get parked , but this is only one of many ideas to try to resolve the issue , there is also a local shop that has 4 employees park all day till 6 or 7 in the evening plus 4 customers at a time / feel alot of the time those who park all day or even a weekend or week park here for safety away from car park hope you can assist thank you / we have been chasing this problem through local councillors but as usual with the qaulity of support from them nothing materialised /latest contacts through ayrshire roads alliance are stating there is going to be an overall review throughout the area for street parking and we have to watch for the consultation process /the council have been threatening this before covid /how do they expect us to believe this after all the let downs ?

Dumped rubbish from a spilled green bin all over the pavement., 16th November
Outside block 3 LOW ROAD AYR the pavement is completely covered in the spilled contents of what I assume was a residents green bin. The whole pavement and road is covered in rubbish, it’s disgusting. There’s glass and a soiled nappy etc. I had to step out onto the busy road to get passed. Can it please be removed and cleaned up,I’d appreciate that.

Areas of broken tarmac westbound lane., 2nd November
This area of road does not have large square edged potholes, however the uneven and broken tarmac is caused by heavy trucks which are braking for the traffic lights at the end of the block. Due to the vehicles being on their brakes and therefore compressing their suspension, whenever they hit the areas of broken tarmac, shock waves go through my property, apart from keeping me awake every night, I believe this is damaging my property. I have been complaining about this for a couple of years, nothing has been done and it is therefore getting worse.

Discarded full bag of collected litter needs removing., 18th October
This full bag of collected litter seems to have been forgotten about as it’s sat there for a number of weeks. I’m guessing the litter was collected by the council from the roadside verge and grass area and was left there for collection along with others but this one was overlooked. Can it please be collected so that it doesn’t eventually burst spreading its litter contents every where yet again.
Thanks.

Council litter/dog poop bin needs emptying., 8th October
The council litter/dog poop bin needs emptying urgently. It’s on the corner of the cenotaph grass area of LOW ROAD AYR ( at the bottom of the pathway leading up to High Road. The bin is overflowing and people are sitting dog poop in bags on top of the bin as they cannot get it inside the bin as it’s full. The council haven’t emptied this bin since it was put there a few months ago. Litter from the full up bin is being blown onto the road and into residents gardens/property. Please empty the bin urgently and clean any discarded litter/poop bags around it ( although a neighbour has done that already! ) and please empty the bin regularly especially as it contains dog poop…I see no point of putting it there then forgetting it exists.
Thank you.
