FIXMYSTREET IN KA7 4BJ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of KA7 4BJ:
Inadequate weed spraying., 19th April
Today at 3.45p.m. A vehicle with a tank driven by a man in dayglo clothing passed by my driveway "spraying weeds". I observed that he only "sprayed" the kerb side of the pavement.. On immediate closer observation I noticed that the area "sprayed" was completely dry. You will see this from my photographs. In addition, there are flourishing weeds growing next to the small wall. Also, the pavement is in such a state of disrepair that weeds are starting to germinate. This is an ongoing issue each summer. The annual spraying just isn't effective or adequate to contain the issue. Had the weeds been sprayed adequately it would go some way to minimising the ongoing issues with weeds. Junction of Strathdoon and Mount Charles.. Pictures were taken on Strathdoon .

Overflowing bin yet again with rubbish blowing everywhere., 23rd April
The two bins that are located at the base of the steps from Station Bridge AYR ( within the council carpark adjacent to the carpark belonging to Morrisons supermarket. ) are yet again overflowing and spilling out litter which blows all over the place. No wonder this whole area is a mess with litter, I use the carpark often and the mess from the bins is unacceptable.

A council waste bin is blocking a disabled parking space., 5th March
There are three disabled parking bays in the carpark adjacent to the railway line behind Morrisons supermarket ( where the steps go up on to Station Bridge. Either one or both Council litter bins are always blocking either one or two of the disabled bays. ( I presume they are left sticking out from where they are meant to be positioned when they are emptied ) They are forever jammed full of litter anyway and there’s so much spilled litter everywhere around that area, it’s an absolute eyesore. With the bin(s) often blocking a disabled bay it means i or other disabled drivers cannot use one or sometimes two of the disabled bays. The whole parking area around these three disabled bays is filthy with litter as it’s usually spilling from the full bins, they need emptying more often also the actual bays themselves need repainting urgently as it’s virtually impossible to see the disabled emblem painted on the ground as it’s 90% worn off. This would help prevent non disabled badge holders from using the bays. Just to clarify again it’s the three disabled bays at the bottom of the steps down from Station Bridge into the council carpark, it’s not within the grounds of Morrisons supermarket.
