Another accident on this dangerous section of road. This accident hotpot has been reported repeatedly to the roads department but they refuse to accept that it is dangerous., 27th July
This is a dangerous road which is not suitably controlled. The non slip section and 30 mph limit need to be extended to the top of the hill and 's bend. Another accident this eveningdouble figures last year and at least 5 so far this year.

Sorry state of a road!, 18th May
This whole road needs completely resurfaced. It was bad before, but has been getting progressively worse since the last spell of bad weather practically to the point that I don't want to drive this way to work any longer in fear that I'm going to seriously damage the suspension on my car!! It needs an emergency repair asap!

Dangerous corner, 23rd January
The road leading downhill on Stewarton road and under the rail viaduct entering Dunlop. There have been a number of accidents on the hill leading downhill coming from Stewarton and a number of near misses under the viaduct due to limited headroom and a high number of large vehicles. Damage can be seen on the viaduct roof. Traffic control lights are required together with an extended 30 mph zone.

New street light, 10th November
A new street lampost has been installed outside 14 Newmill Road to replace a broken concrete one. A hole has been dug to locate the power cable in preparation to move the power to the new lampost, but now action has since taken place for several weeks to finally move the power cable and commission the new light.
