At the junction of London Road and Church Lane the grass on the central reservation has grow so high that when turning from London Road (NB) you now cannot see oncoming traffic until you have pulled cross the dual carriageway

Banner on railings, 3rd April
The Copdock Beer Festival organisers put a banner promoting the June festival on the railings of the Church Lane bridge that goes over the A12 between Copdock and Belstead. It would have been visible to cars heading northbound on the A12 just before they reach the Copdock A14 Interchange. As the banner has disappeared, we have to assume it was taken down by N.H. We apologise for our mistake in putting it here and would like to erect it somewhere more suitable within the village. Do you know what happened to it / where it is? Many thanks for your help.

Close parking problems, 26th February
We are starting to have problems down or cul-de-sac. I live at no. 35 belmont. The people who have moved in say that they own the area marked in red and that no one else can park there except them. They live at no. 33. On my deeds dated back when the house was built 1978, it says that it is a turning bay, visits may park there but not for a long period of time. It also states that no one who lives in the close should be parking there as we all have a drive way. It also states that the person who parks there must not park past the house which is no. 33. Is this correct, please help the owners says that is belongs to them. Everyone in the close is getting very angry about this situation, if we have it in writing then things can get sorted.

Multiple lights not working, 30th January
Numerous streetlights around A12 / A14 junction at Copdock are not working. This in on all the slip roads, A1214 leading up to roundabout and also lights around the roundabout. Slip roads have been out for some time but entire area now progressivelyworse.

Church Lane - Spring Road is becoming impassable, 23rd January
The road is thick with mud and has a series of pothols. There is grass growing in the mud in several places. It is becoming hazardous to drive on and is impassable when frozen.

Old London Road / Tesco Underpass, 15th January
The underpass is regularly defaced with graffiti, much of it offensive. The art department at Suffolk One college has recently undertaken a project in Ipswich town, producing an impressive mural decorating the now disused BHS store - https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/23810657.ipswich-bhs-store-decorated-mural-wolsey-550/ The college art department has been contacted to ask if the students would be interested in undertaking a similar project at the Teso/A14 underpass; they have responded very positively. We are therefore asking for your permission for the art strudents to produce / paint a mural on the Tesco / Copdock Interchange underpass. I'm aware that a similar project was undertaken at the Church Lane/A14 underpass at Sproughton, which the then Parish Council and Primary School were involved with.

Massive amount of mud on road, 8th January
There has been massive amount of mud dragged out of the field gateway opposite the entrance to Copdock Hall making it very slippery

Large amounts of litter at jct33 including tyres at side of road. Especially present along lay-by that exists as A12 joins A14 on left hand side.

Ongoing flooding, 21st December
The road is flooding every time it rains, the water goes right across the road.
The flooding occurred opposite Street Farm and is the entire length of the wooded area.

Broken underground drain, 14th December
Broken underground drain causing sewage to overflow into the carriageway of A14, continuing to pollute surface water drainage. Public footpath is so overgrown that affected area cannot be accessed safely. Been reported multiple times and nobody is taking action for this serious issue.

Hedge and verge cutting, 30th November
Hedges and verges along buckhorn lane are particularly overgrown, making it difficult to see road signs and oncoming traffic.

Trees overgrowing footpath, 16th October
The footpath is difficult to pass in places because of overgrown branches, causing pedestrians to go into the road. This path is used a lot by students to Suffolk One and employees to the First strokes swimming pool

Parked across footpath, 15th September
Outside No 1 Greenspire Grove, Pinewood. This car user parks every day inconsiderately to people using both the path and road. Today he hasn’t left enough room for people to get past it. This is a route used a lot by pedestrians going to Tesco with people on mobility scooters and people with pushchairs.

Entrance to footpath on Lower Barn Road impassable, 25th August
Trying to identify the entrance to the footpath on Lower Barn Road by Buckle's Bridge heading towards Pigeons Lane and struggled until a passing local resident helpfully pointed it out. It's so overgrown the entrance and the direction are not obvious and on trying to take a step to push through my boot quickly discovered it was flooded a foot deep - which would have been more obvious had the 'jungle' been cut back somewhat. It has obviously been like it for some time judging by the size of the vegetation and the rotting smell. Thank goodness we didn't enter the path from the other end - my ten year old would never have made it through and we'd have had to retrace our steps.

Damaged road sign, 26th July
When finally mowing the grass in Eccles Road after 3 months, the mower smashed into this roadsign. The base is very rusty and the sign could fall into the road at any time if not fixed quickly
