Lines Need Painting On Road To Stop Potential Accident, 8th September
The driveway to properties at Penbry Gardens is airways being parked across with people using the village shop, pub, shop deliveries and school buses. This can be dangerous if a vehicle needs to access the properties in an emergency and also when entering and leaving the driveway onto the Main Street being unable to see around the vehicles which is dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists. Also school buses stop across the drive away and there are children running around unsupervised which causes a big risk of harm with stopped vehicles and using the driveway. Could lines please be painted to stop parking in this high risk location.

Very strong smell., 1st October
I know there is a sewage plant there but does it have to smell so strong? In the summer I have to hold my breath and it makes my eyes sting. It is a horrid smell and now there is a housing estate being built not far away. Could you please send someone to see if it could be made less smelly at all. Thanks.

Tree Preservation Order application, 26th April
English Oak tree of high value BS cat: A, BS sub cat:1 Estimated remaining contribution: 40+. Height: 18m. This is a fantastic example of an english oak and deserves protection for the future. It has ivy cover suitable for invertebrates and other mammals. There is also another oak tree of equal value and much taller at 24m which is opposite the road on the right if you continue heading towards Brooks farm. It would be fantastic to protect bot threes as they add huge value to the look of the village as well as the obvious carbon store, and home to the local wildlife.

Parking on a corner, 26th September
Parking outside moriarty’s tea rooms is always a huge problem when traveling west. (Towards the church.) Today 2 road work trucks (not working) were parked on the left completely blocking the view around the left corner. I had to reverse twice to allow vehicles through in the opposite direction. This area on the left bend by the cafe should be double yellow lines to prevent parking. There is a village hall car park less than 30 metres away.

Parking, 18th February
When approaching this area from either direction you cannot see around the curve for lots of cars parking. Several times I have had to stop and reverse at least 100m. This area is even worse when a bus or an articulated lorry heading to Clarke’s comes through this area. They have to drive on the very narrow pavement to get through. A constant line of cars from the bowling green to the Congregational church. Sometimes further.

A very large pothole. When driving this road today I had to drive through a puddle which has a large hole in it. When going Back the opposite direction I noticed large sections of road surface on the side. They were at least 100 mm thick. Could not tell the size of the hole in the puddle.
