Dangerous placement of diversion signs on entrance to drive IP31 1QZ., 15th June
Two diversion signs have been placed at the entrance to our drive (Honington House IP31 1QZ) without any communication, making it impossible to turn into our property when travelling from Thetford, and making it impossible to see oncoming traffic when exiting the property. This makes it extremely dangerous for us and our neighbour and I would be grateful if the signs could be moved as soon as possible.

A huge pothole filled with water damaged two wheels & tyres on the near side of my car, 7th December
Wednesday evening whilst travelling with my wife between Bury St Edmunds & Norwich,we were diverted off the main road by Police because of an accident. On travelling the signed diversion route in Little Livermere I took severely damaged two wheels & two tyres on my car in a water filled pot hole. My wife & I were then marooned for some four & a half hours awaiting recovery. The hole in the road is approximately 200 yards from a property known as Rymers Cottage. I have put the matter in the hands of my vehicle insurers but am looking to you as the relevant authority for maintaining that stretch of road for the restitution of the policy excess to a minimum of £75. During the time waiting for pick up, NINE other vehicles also sustained damage. According to one workman on the road, the diversion should not have been routed through that road as previously another route had been used. I am also due to attend for medical examination for shoulder damage. The road has not been suitably maintained to a safe standard for the purpose for which it was used . Yours Faithfully
