FIXMYSTREET IN IP27 9DU
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of IP27 9DU:
Reported previously, 5th February
The problem with dog fouling is worsening along this road. There is some signage on the lampposts but given there are not many along this road why aren't there signs on the telephone line poles which are numerous. Not only are there piles of dog faeces but also bags containing the same just dumped on the verges. Maybe provision of a couple of dog poo bins would help? Given the mentality of these inconsiderate owners probably not.

Pavement uneven due to tree roots, 26th January
Tree roots are causing ridges and bumps in the pavement between 15 Breckland Avenue (in the cul de sac) and the main part of Breckland Avenue. In itself this is very dangerous, combined with the dead street lamp (already reported) this is near lethal after dark, especially for people with disabilities/unsteady on their feet.

Street lamp outside 15 Breckland Avenue not working, 26th January
This street lamp hasn't worked for some years now, even when it does there are two trees that obscure it during summer when they are covered in leaves.

Local garage business parking vehicles awaiting servicing and for sale along street blocking pavement and using all parking spaces, 4th November
For many months the bgarage business lease holder has been decanting the vehicles awaiting works or servicing in to the Street, they are mostly parked half on pavement and half in road, across driveways and they make it difficult for pedestrians and road users alike. At the end of the day they then move some of the vehicles back on to forecourt or leave out on road if space is an issue. They have another leased similar business close by which they also use as there business has grown. Whilst I am pleased that there business is successful various approaches to discuss concerns has been unsuccessful as they state that they cannot control how customers park their vehicles. Unfortunately it is mainly that they are moving in and reparking as if in a tetris game each day. To mention that the garage has been there for many years however the current leaseholder seems to have outgrown the premises / expanded very quickly with insufficient vehicle parking for the customers or sales vehicles on their large forecourt. I now feel no option but to report as a lady with a buggy and toddler was unable to pass on the footpath and had to go in to the road to pass, ir is often difficult even walking past as the cars come in to the road to see past the parked cars and block pavement even more. Apologies for lengthy message hopefully you can help

Inconsiderate parents again, 23rd September
This is a daily occurrence during school term and is an accident waiting to happen, should a car be driving up Wingfield Road to exit onto Wings Road I would likely have to reverse back onto Wings road to let them out. Secondly the vehicles on the left and right nearest to me are parked very close to the junction. Also look at the damage these cars are doing to the verge. The area is already looking scruffy without this hazard.

Pathways overgrown with weeds, 12th March
At the end of the cul-de-sac there is a rectangular area adjacent 61-67 Wingfield Road. The pathway around this rectangle has weeds pushing through he surface which aside from being dangerous when there is frost is also scruffy and untidy. I have reported this before and the highway department of Suffolk council told me this is not an area under their remit. I am uncertain who to report this to but the area is looking scruffy and does not reflect well on Lakentheath.
