Sun, 17 May 2020 19:55:06 +0100

There was previously a plank footbridge at this location on Thelnetham Public Footpath no. 4. Two of the three planks have now broken and the third is so rotten as to be unsafe to use. The missing bridge will make the route impassible for all but the most sure-footed users. A replacement bridge is needed.

Drain tarmaced over,, 9th February

Sun, 09 Feb 2020 11:55:11 +0000
52.354106 0.964382

The drain was covered over when repairs were carried out to the road several weeks ago. Since the repairs the road has been flooded right across the road and for approx. 20-30m along its length. It is only now that the water has gone that the problem is obvious.

A caravan has been parked on the track, which is causing a partial block to vehicles., 20th July

A caravan has been moved into the junction of Short Grove Lane and Gypsey Lane, this is causing a partial blockage for vehicles, especially agricultural vehicles. I first noted the arrival on 16 July 2018. There is a single male living in the caravan who has started to flytip around the immediate plus burning rubbish daily. Members of the community have approached him and he has responded with foul language.

36" pot hole plus two more large, 24th February

I was coming home from hairdresser at wattisfield and decide to come home back way to Hepworth this was 6.30pm 22nd February only to go into the deep pothole which punched my tyre and chipped my inside rim of my car which was them un drivable as no spare wheel and not run flats. So I was stranded drove my car slowly to pound farm which I had to leave there as did not want to wreak my allloy wheel. The lady there was very kind and run me home. As my husband works away otherwise I would have had to walk which at that time at night is a very lonely road in the dark. I have now got new tyre which had cost me 114 pounds as it is 205x50x17 I would like compansation for this please as was a good tyre as if you go a check road it is narrow and hard to see pothole in the dark although it is very large. People have been driving up the bank to avoid but as I said this was 6.30 pm at night and filled with water. Went back next day and took picture.
