Too much water to show potholes, 12th January
The whole of the road here is broken up - between Dower Cottage and Green Farm - as it's positioned between the pond and a field and the overflow from both means the tarmac has broken down. This has been bad for ages but got worse since we had so much wet weather. I'm now having to take a detour to avoid this as had to change my tyre damaged due to poor road surfaces - possible not in this location but not taking a chance.

Overgrown verges Abbey Road and Top road Wingfield/Fressingfieldjunction, 8th June
The Y junction at Abbey Road and Top Road Wingfield is suffering seriously reduced vision caused by overgrown verges and field edges. Trying to turn right into Top Road from Abbey Rd to see adequately, means edging out too far to be safe. Oncoming traffic moves quickly. Turning left into Abbey Road from Top Road is blind and very concerning.

Lateral thrust damage, 27th May
Following the patchwork to the road surface on the lane, undertaken by contractors I have to report the road surface is cracked and the former grass bank has been both compressed and moved to wards the roadside ditch. I am now too old to have to dig out the ditch should it collapse following either heavy rain or or the passage of a heavy vehicle

Accummulation of mud,stones,gravel in road. Edge of roadway has disintegrated, potholes., 6th February
The road is not easily useable do to longstanding accumulation of silt, mud, large stones and gravel. Some deep potholes and side of road is disintegrating. Especially dangerous when heavy rain and floodwater hides these hazards.

Hug, 29th December
Outside Dower Cottage Wingfield , Opposite Green Farm Huge potholes opened up again several weeks ago , a constant problem have reported before fixed but redevelop very quickly due to surface water constantly on this low lying road opposite a huge pond , have met other vehicles in middle of road that try to avoid potholes which are very deep

Potholes in Castle Crescent Wingfield IP25RD, 10th December
Wingfield Parish Council have reported these potholes several times over the past 2 years. Tenants and homeowners are extremely worried about damage to their vehicles and trip hazards to young children and the elderly. No action to repair them has been taken.

Large potholes along length of Low Road, 10th December
Large extensive potholes all along Low Road which is used to access Wingfield Barns from Top Road and as a main route by delivery vans and villagers to access Church Road. Plant debris in middle of road is high and in danger of damaging smaller vechiles. This issue has been reported by Wingfield Parish Council several times over the past 2 years with no action taken.
