A lose drain lid is continuously being dislodged by vehicles when driving over. When this drain sticks up it can cause a lot of damage to a car I have experienced a punctured tyre and a leak of some kind. It is on the S-Bends where the B1119 joins Saxmundham Road.

Hedge hanging into roadway causing damage to cars, 2nd November
About 200 yards from disused pit on B1119 Saxmundham Road hedge sticks out on nearside as travel to Saxmundham. With low sun about 4.00pm did not see hedge sticking out and scratched nearside of car. Traffic was coming in opposite direction so even if I had seen it would have been unable to avoid.

Overgrown footpath, 15th June
Footpath crosses a field of rape which is now overgrown and the footpath well covered. The same footpath then leads into a small wooded area which is overgrown with waist high nettles and weeds (I have the nettle rash to prove it!)

There is no sign showing the footpath. Used to be a post there.... possibly knocked down?

12 inch pothole / sunken drain, 17th December
There is a large pothole / sunken drain on the eastbound carriageway which is very difficult to avoid. This has been present for at least 14 days and appears to be getting worse each week. Note : The indicator on the map is an approximate position. The pothole is on the left hand side of the road as you head towards Leiston, after the section where the road narrows.

Repeated flooding, 3rd April
This section of the B1119 repeatedly floods across both lanes when it rains. This is very dangerous at night as there is no street lighting and the flood is not easily seen until you actually hit it. This problem has been present for the past 3 months.

Fly tipping in lay by marked on map, 23rd March
I passed the lay by as marked on the map and rubbish has been dumped there. It is sheets of corrugated material possibly asbestos.
Also some full black bin bags.

Potholes, 6th February
There are lots of potholes (I took approx 30 photographs ) between Bramble Corner and White House Farm on Lowes Hill. There are 2 between White House Farm and Butchers Road too.

Pothole, 23rd May
There is a rather bad pothole on East Green near Beech Tree Farm. It is a hazard for cyclists and other road users. It has been there for several months.
