Footpaths have been narrowed, 8th July
Alterations to banks in front of houses and encroaching verge have meant that the south side of the Saxmundham Road pavement cannot be used by mobility scooters etc. Newish problem as work has gone on in a number of houses and gardens.

New lighting, 27th April
Dear Sir The lighting in Saxmundham Road, Aldeburgh has recently been changed to led lighting which is considerably brighter. I am concerned about the detrimental affect that the light from lamp 22 will have on the bat's that roost in the roof of our house and garage which is opposite the lamp. Talking to the people fitting the lights I understand that the lights can be dimmed remotely and also a shade could be fitted to the lamp. It would be great if you could arrange for one or preferably both of these actions to be taken as bat's are protected by law and are an endangered species.

Fit he's lane public footpath has a tree falling across it it is getting lower by the day and a number of disabled persons including myself frequently use this path. It's gone from having to duck under it to having to limbo under it

Road floods when in rains, this is caused by the runoff of water from the fields to the north of the road. Ditch needs to be reinstated where the farmers have filled them in to allow access into the fields to the road. Ther is alternate access to these fields from the north of them.

Huge amount of garden waste dumped on pretty fitches lane footpath, 25th May
A man from Hawthorne Close has been dumping tonnes of his garden waste in the woods on fitches lane footpath. he has even taken to filling his wheelbarrow up and dumping loads of rubbish when the rest of the community are paying for green bins

Damaged trees and hedgerow reducing the width of the B1122, 3rd April
Broken tree branches and overgrown hedgerow adjacent to the service road are reducing the width of the B1122 as you head into Aldringham from Aldeburgh. When met by oncoming traffic it is difficult to avoid brushing against the hedgerow , potentially damaging paintwork.
