New lighting, 27th April

Wed, 27 Apr 2022 21:05:23 +0100
52.158663 1.588401

Dear Sir The lighting in Saxmundham Road, Aldeburgh has recently been changed to led lighting which is considerably brighter. I am concerned about the detrimental affect that the light from lamp 22 will have on the bat's that roost in the roof of our house and garage which is opposite the lamp. Talking to the people fitting the lights I understand that the lights can be dimmed remotely and also a shade could be fitted to the lamp. It would be great if you could arrange for one or preferably both of these actions to be taken as bat's are protected by law and are an endangered species. Thank you for your help Kindest regards Terence Nunn terencewnunn@gmail.com
