Southbound lane, 2 large potholes when vehicle wheels run (one hole either side of the lane). Causes vehicles to swerve into oncoming traffic. 25-30mm deep 300mm wide.
These potholes have been here for a very long time now even though others close by that were newer have been repaired.

Urgent maintenance is required, all signs around and leading up to dangerous junction in both directions are completely non visible, this junction a140/a1120, has recently had another major crash, also pathways have not been cleared correctly.

Rough surface, 13th June
A long stretch between Mickfield cross roads and Stonham is very rough and uneven, potentially unsafe. Extremely poor surface for a main trunk road. It will need skimming and totally resurfacing properly. A cheap tar and chippings won't resolve the surface.

A140 Southbound - directional signage to Stowupland and Mendlesham Green, 30th August
A quarter of this road traffic sign is missing, and looking at Google Streetview it's clear its been broken since at least 2018. ETA for a repair please?

Just appeared with the recent bad weather. This is on a very busy road and needs urgent attention

Dangerous size and will damage vehicles. Not visible when filled with rain water. Unavoidable when vehicles travelling from the opposite direction due to size of the road.

Flooding, 28th February
The ditches that have presumably been piped underground are not functioning any more and are overflowing almost constantly onto the road. This has been the case for many months. In heavy rain you can see the water coming up out of the gullies, and also in a small fountain in the verge where there must be a blocked pipe. This road is becoming dangerous to drive on now as people do not want to drive through the water so are often driving on the wrong side of the road

Eroded tarmac around drain cover, 30th January
As title, pothole has formed around the drain cover which is now getting quite deep. Right in line for vehicles nearside tyres. Near primary school so if vehicles are moving about to avoid it this could be a problem as road is already very narrow and children use the pavement.

Blocked gullies/ ditches leading to serious water overflowing on road, 8th December
This flooding has been getting steadily worse for several weeks now. Water is coming out of the gullies on the side of the road, presumably the ditches or pipes are blocked as the water should be going down them. Often the water completely covers all the road now. Icy weather makes this especially treacherous

A pipe underneath clockhouse Lane is blocked, so every time it rains water flows over the top of the ditch and floods the road !, 21st March
