Rubbish, 7th March
The amount of rubbish spanning from Lower Hatcheston all the way down the A12 to the roundabout that leads you to the A14. I have got to say I go this way everyday and the rubbish that has been there for a good 6 months needs to be collected it is disgraceful it's just getting worse and worse. Seperate to this the laybys need to have bins so people can throw their rubbish away.

Metal Post holder without wooden bollard., 5th October
Bollard protecting public from cars mounting pavement. The top part of this post has been missing for over a year. Several cars have hit the black metal stump which has resulted in vehicle damage and the post itself being temporarily refined with tarmac. Dangerous to public and vehicles. Particularly in usable to vehicles at such a low level approx 18” from ground.

Deer carcass, 24th February
A very large deer carcass is on the pavement which leads along the side of the A12 heading up the hill towards Wickham Market before the dual carriage way. It has been there since December, it is extremely unpleasant to pass, not nice for children to see and difficult to negotiate around for pushchairs and disability carriages.

Road Closed Signs All Over Campsea Ashe, 2nd November
We are the owners of The Village Shop Campsea Ashe we are without customers today solely due to all the road closed signs in and around Campsea Ashe You have them both ends of Mill Lane but no-one is working there they are also on the approach road off the A12 to Campsea Ashe so no one is coming this way we have a days fresh items to dispose of i.e. Bread Cakes and fruit and veg. with no customers except walkers coming into the shop can you please contact us and let us know what is going on and when we can get back to normal trading. Large pothole on B1078, 9th January
The pothole is about 6 inches deep a 3 feet in diameter. It is a definite rim buckler and any vehicle swerving to avoid it, risks a head-on with oncoming traffic.

Keep clear sign, of inadequate width, needs repainting, poor road surface in Crown Lane, often find spaces to our driveway blocked by parked cars., 30th January
This location is on Crown Lane, which is very narrow, it is used for parking, it would be preferable just for residents and access, as the church has the “beehive” which is a village hall, and there is also access to allotments from this Lane. It is in poor condition, very narrow, keep clear area no large enough, and painting needs re- doing.

Road sinking allowing rainwater to flood, 10th February
The road appears to have sunk down between Jasmine house and Church farm driveways and is allowing water to gather and flood the area. After heavy rain, the end of the Jasmine house driveway is totally immersed.
