Children walking on road, 6th January
We have a very dangerous road immediately outside our house! There is no path for the village children to walk upon here. Cars / tractors / council trucks speed past our house daily, someone is going to be seriously hurt sooner or later! Please place some children playing signs up ASAP!!!!!!!

Unofficial Sign, 2nd March
An unofficial sign saying "NO PARKING" has been put up on Templand Road by a resident on a council fence at numbr 14 to stop my friends parking there.

Pothole - getting bigger daily, 9th February
Pothole immediately outside the entrance to Birchbank is getting bigger. Heavy lorries using this small road are making it worse.

Pig Carcass, 16th June
There is a dead pig at the gate on the south side of the railway next to the A96-Loch Na Bo road. It has been there for several days and is causing a terrible stench.

Broken Drain Grate, 17th October
The drain grate at the edge of the road has fallen in or been broken. It is a potential hazard.

Dangerous Steps - Broken Slab, 9th October
On the steps to Lhanbryde Community Centre there is a broken slab which is quite dangerous especially since the hall is used mainly by children & the elderly.

Litter - Bottles & Cans in Playing Field, 30th July
After soccer matches at the Lhanbryde Village Hall playing field there is quite often a lot of litter left there. There have been bottles, cans, disposable gloves,crisp packets etc. left there after games and these are not picked up. The grass cutters then run them over leaving broken glass & cans with sharp edges.

Anti-Social Behaviour - Fires etc, 17th July
In the woods near Lhanbryde Cemetery, near Elsher Road at a place the locals call "the seven trees" in the evenings at weekends,teenagers have been drinking/drug taking, fighting, causing a nuisance to dog walkers, lighting fires, dropping litter etc. Most are under 18 and are being bought alcohol by an older youth.
