Vehicle reg. SM21 LKL parked illegally on double yellow lines in Fairfield Lane, Inverness. IV3 5DR at 7:20pm on 8th May, 2024 when I drove into Fairfield Lane to my home address causing an obstruction to my onward progress as multiple vehicles were exiting Tesco car park. There are nearby road closures so Tesco Supermarket car park is acting as a diversion and so more vehicles are exiting onto Fairfield Lane. There was space in Permit Holder bays in Kenneth Street, as attached photo shows. Vehicle constantly parks here on these yellow lines since mid April, 2022 and is just creating a safety hazard and committing a parking violation. Highland Council Parking Enforcement Team should inform Inverness Police Scotland to uplift vehicle and tow it and impound it. The vehicle keeper will have to pay uplift fee and impound charge, so there will be no cost to Highland Council.

Each “patch” repair has just made the situation worse! The intersection is now in need of resurfacing rather than random Patching. This road is very busy and it’s current condition is dangerous!
