There is a temporary pedestrian crossing outside Poets Place (11 Alderton Hill,) with temporary traffic lights. As it is a pedestrian crossing, both sets of lights go green or red at the same time, but there currently isn't enough room for both streams of traffic to get through at the same time which is causing traffic jams & angry drivers!

Badly potholed/damaged pavement, 26th March
This section of pavement is well used and the potholes are unavoidable when walking here. They are a serious trip hazard and cause access issues for anyone who is disabled, elderly or infirm. It’s particularly dangerous in the dark when it’s hard to see.

Many very large damaging potholes, 15th March
These potholes on the whole road to the David Lloyd Leisure centre have now become dangerous. Cars are having to take risks especially on the bend to avoid them and to avoid tyres and wheels being damaged. It has been too long.

3 potholes with 20 metres, 23rd January
3 potholes within a 20 metre stretch of road. All roughly the same size. About about 5 centimetres deep and 20 centimetres across. I first noticed them about a week ago but they could have been there longer as I had not used that road for a few weeks.

Subsidence in road, 23rd January
This is a blind corner and it is impossible to see the subsidence when entering the corner. It is very dangerous at night as there is no lighting and you cannot see the subsidence which is about a 45degree angle for the whole length of the corner (about 8metres). Please would you repair it, thank you.

Streetlight out, 24th November
Finlayson Path 1 light at the beginning of the path is out. Its outside Loughton station, on the left hand and that area is now quite dark as a result and is wishing for this to be fixed asap.

Approximately 4 inch deep pothole. Also 4 inch in width and length. Pothole is part of a collapsed section of the road that runs from kerb to the middle of the road which was repaired some months ago but which has since collapsed again.

"Keep clear" road signage at the junction of Oakwood Hill and Southview Road has faded badly and vehicles waiting for the traffic lights block the junction so cars cant turn right into Southview Road
