Dangerous littering and fly tipping, 8th March

Fri, 08 Mar 2024 17:59:00 +0000
53.746587 -0.379917

Not all of the images were able to upload, very bad fly tipping, dangerous items such as razor blades, knives, broken glass and broken plates dumped also a ropes attached to bricks which is a tripping hazard, a stone underneath plastic which is also a tripping hazard. This is a fire exit and is always like this. Letters need to be issued to finally put an end to it, enough is enough.

Double Yellow Lines Faded, 14th February

Wed, 14 Feb 2024 09:42:16 +0000
53.731393 -0.366519

Double yellow lines outside30 West Dock Street have faded due to Veolia frequently leaving a large container/skip unit on the road whilst they go to refuel. This has led to cars and HGV's parking in this area where the lines previously where as the road seems to indicate it is okay to park there! It makes it difficult to get out of the company gates as you cannot see around the HGV's to see if another is coming down the road.

There are cars that are parked without being issued tickets. We all have our own passes to park in the area but there are cars that block our way. The council should issue tickets so that the traffic flows properly and people do not leave abandoned cars.

Cars parking blocking the junction, 26th January

Fri, 26 Jan 2024 17:56:17 +0000
53.737266 -0.385029

Since the introduction of double yellow lines on the new Amy Johnson Housing estate, cars from properties nearby and particularly down Kiln Avenue are now parking on the junction of Brindle Road and Kiln Avenue as can be seen in the photo. This is therefore now causing a blockage of the junction and doesn’t allow two cars to pass in opposite directions and could potentially lead to accidents. It is already causing problems for two cars approaching the junction. If cars were to approach the junction from three sides at once it will cause major problems. It also causes restricted turning circles for residents trying to access their driveways on Brindle Road. Can something please be done about this to prevent this junction being restricted like this?

Permit Parking, 6th January

Sat, 06 Jan 2024 15:33:18 +0000
53.741237 -0.36672

This car has been parked here for the last 4 days,it has no Permit displayed, but this seems to be a on-going problem, because over the Xmas period and up to now there has been other vehicles parked there and all have no permits.I have to pay for a permit, yet there is plenty of cars parked outside my house and don't pay for a permit.I can't remember the last time I saw a parking warden, especially on Saturday after 12 midday and when there is a match on. Kind regards Mr Ian Atkinson
