De Restriction sign needs greying out again. Check movement Sensors., 23rd June
You have been working on the motorway bridge for some time and for safety reasons the 40mph zone on New Hey Road was extended to include the motorway bridge which meant the de-restriction signs were 'grey out'. This has now weathered off and motorists are confronted with 40, derestricted signs then 40 signs. This would be difficult to enforce to protect motorists who are keeping to the temporary 40 limit or your workforce. Movement sensors on ATS seem intelligent for Huddersfield bound traffic but slow to alter for Manchester bound traffic.

Pot holes in the outside lane, 9th June
Following the recent resurfacing activities some already marked up pot holes have been missed. These holes could cause an accident if hit by a motorcycle at speed. I was expecting these to have been addressed during the recent works. The holes are westbound just as you come round the bend to go down the hill to Sammonden Dam.

Possible safety issue M62 j22 - 23 eastbound, 9th January
Not sure if this is something to be worried about but in a field very close to the above stretch of motorway are a few HGV trailers with advertising posters on the side. I noticed when I drove past a few weeks ago that a couple of them were on a slope, pointing down towards the motorway. If the brakes or whatever was keeping the trailers in place failed, then they would be heading off down the hill towards the motorway. It could of course be that the wheels had been removed and I hadn't noticed this or they are secured in some way in which case there isn't a problem but I thought it was worth a mention. Please note the location pin I put on the map is a bit of a guess but they were definitely that side of the reservoir

Works Ref- FN41259193916 WORKS INACTIVE, 17th October
The above roadworks on New Hey Road bridge over the M62 has been ongoing for several years now (prior to lockdown if my memory serves me well?) and I have not seen any signs of activity or progress for at least the last six months. I regularly use this route to commute to work and I am finding this incredibly frustrating as no signs of progress are evident. I am not going to go into detail as I am sure National Highways have access to site progress reports from their ghost 'contractor' but this complete lack of progress compounded with completely unsatisfactory programmed traffic light management makes my blood boil everyday as I have to navigate past this ridicuous inconvenience which has gone on far too long!
I look forward to an update and some excuses soon.
PS. Reimbursement for the amount of fuel I have wasted whilst waiting for the traffic lights to consider it is worthing of turning green would also be appreciated given the current cost of fuel but I guess that would be a stretch to say the least?
