I think thus tree is likelyvto cut down soon like the other beautiful tree that was next to it., 13th March
This tree is a haven for birds - crows, blackbirds, starlings, kestrel, collared doves, wood pigeons, jackdaws, ravens, long tailed tits, blue tits, robins, wrens, plus more. There was a tree next to it, which was sadly cut down, so the birds now frequent and nest in this tree. Please can this last remaining large tree be preserved. The tree next to I remember my parents signing an order to protect it but there is no record if it anywhere. The council said it was not on the preservation list (I did check when it was been taken down). We need to save thus tree.

Faded keep clear box, 27th February
At the exit of Sainsbury’s, there is a keep clear box that has very faded markings, pretty much impossible to tell it is there it’s so faded.
In a morning, cars travel along Mill Lane to the mini roundabout and completely block the exit to Sainsbury’s off causing traffic to build up at the exit to Sainsbury’s car park.
When traffic does start to move, only a few cars get through the lights as people travelling along the a641 towards Huddersfield block the yellow box. This makes the problem worse for drivers on Mill lane as it causes them to be impatient block the mini roundabout off as they don’t want to wait any longer.
Looking at Google maps the keep clear box was painted between June 2015 and June 2017 and hasn’t been repainted since.
