Consideration of Noise Barriers and / or Tree Planting, 11th February
There have been various works carried out on this busy stretch of motorway including a solid concrete central reservation and changes to the road surface material.
It would seem that increased road and traffic noise has potentially correlated with this.
Could serious consideration please be given to the installation of sound barriers and / or a scheme of tree planting in order to mitigate the effect of noise from the motorway network on the adjoining properties?

Lights shining into drivers eyes, 14th December
There are 2 lights on the westbound carriageway on the bridge over Clough Lane (B6114) that are angled differently to all the other lights. This means that they are shining into the faces of vehicles travelling eastbound which causes a distraction. This has been the case for at least 4 weeks

Deceased fox on hard shoulder, 26th November
There is a deceased fox on hard shoulder westbound anout quarter of a mile from juction 24 there is a big yellow Rureka sign just after where the deceased fox is layed and just down the m62 is john fredricks plastics on the same side . Could highways please remove Thankyou .

Bushes growth obscuring view when crossing junction, 25th October
As above bushes make it very difficult to see traffic exiting motorway while trying to cross. The field of vision is now so short it just relies on guess work by listening for traffic. Please investigate (the problem has got steadily worse over last couple years) if possible very dangerous when trying to cross. Thank you

Obstruction parking on pavement, 3rd October
This car is quite clearly parked not only on a pavement illegally but also this area is a permit parking zone too to which the vehicle is flouting the law by not showing a permit

Parking on double yellow lines Elland Lane, 27th July
Persistent parking on double yellow lines on Elland Lane outside Marshall Hall There are always at least 3 vans and car parked on the double yellow lines on Elland Lane. On Monday there were 7! Only once in the last 12 months have I seen a traffic warden down there

The road markings at the junction between Westbury St and Quebec St have completely worn away The road markings between Westbury St and Elland Lane and Quebec St are virtually nonexistent as are the ones leading from the traffic lights on Elland Lane to the main strip of Elland Lane As there are many industrial units in the area it is incredibly dangerous as many of the HGV drivers are not local to the area and are unaware as to where the junctions are, who has right of way etc
