30 Limit Signs not Illuminating, 29th November
The 30 limit signs are not illuminating, and have not done so since October. With the dark winter nights they are difficult to see. On more than one occasion now, traffic is not slowing down until it reaches the 2nd 30 sign, which is a repeater, more than 300m further down the road into Knaresborough.

Poor vision on the bend at Jumwell beck bridge, 21st July
This is an extremely dangerous bend on Low Moor Lane as the road changes to single track. The problem being that some motorists who "cut through" to or from Ripon approach this bend at fast speeds unaware that this is a blind bend until its too late. Hedges have become overgrown thus vision around the bend is impared. Existing warning signs are totally inadequate. Please cut back the hedges and improve warning signs. There is another bend further up Low Moor Lane which could do with improved warning signs as this is a less acute bend often approached at high speed but again to a lesser degree blind. New seating bench on Beryl Burton cycle way destroyed by vandals. Very sad to see this

Developer has left pavement unsurfaced, 30th July
The developer of the new houses adjacent to Rockville House, New Road, Scotton dug up the pavement filled it with lose stone but has not reinstated the aphaslt and it has been like this for months. Its unsightly but also a trip hazard.

Constant blocked and broken drains x2, 16th August
2 road drains on each side of the road outside entrance to Scotton caravan park which cause huge deep flooding in rain right across the road. Causes issue in passing and for pedestrians

Blocked highway drain, Havikil Lane, Scotton, 6th May
Blocked up highway drain on Havikil Road, Scotton. Only light rain today however water is pooling on the road as it has nowhere to drain to. This is contributing to longer term damage to the carriageway. In heavier rainfall the whole width of the carriageway floods owning to not enough Riad drains.

Poor rod condition & potholes, 27th January
Virtually the entire length of Mire Syke Lane is just a continuation of bodged potholes that haven’t been repaired correctly, it’s a real mess
If the repairs were done correctly the council would save time & money by not having to revisit previously poorly repaired

Someone has dumped a fridge, a microwave and some other electrical item in the car park on Ripley Road - disgusting!!! Don't think they were there this morning unless they were behind a car!!!

Unsign posted cattle grids, 30th April
2 unsign posted cattle grids on the Bilton Hall Lane to Knaresborough (Beryl Bunton) Cycle path/ Bridle Path. Child came off bike due to unexpected cattle grid round bend in path. Also inappropriate vehicle access restriction street furniture at the end of the steep descent in to towards Knaresborough as the cycle route joins the Nidd waterside paths.
