Confusing diversion signs fir overnight resurfacing work, 13th May
4 week overnight resurfacing work has diversion signs that are sending traffic( car and Hgvs) down the a61 to find melmerby lane entrance coned off, thus forcing vehicles on a unnecessary 2 mile diversion in the wrong direction access is required 24/7 for the industrial estate , I have spoken to foreman for tarmac who was not helpful, diversion sign is required for industrial estate from a1 junction 50 roundabout to indicate whether to access melmerby lane from a61 road or from the rural underlands lane road. White lining and cats eyes. Impossible to see, 15th February
From Ripon out to the A1M and beyond to Skipton on swale the White lines and cats eyes are barely visible on a clear night. With recent fog and rain this stretch of road is highly dangerous. As a 60mph speed limit other drivers are frustrated when im not going anywhere near that speed due to the extremely poor visibility. Only a matter of time before a serious accident. The melmerby turn off is particularly bad. The problem runs all the way to Harrogate from Ripon aswell. Is there no budget for white lines and cats eyes anymore ?
