Fallen retaining wall, 12th May
The retaining wall opposite the Cof E school has collapsed and the rubble remains strewn across the highway as it was some six or more months ago. The diversion is not ideal being bendy and narrow unsuitable for larger vehicles. It is surely unacceptable for the collapse to remain untreated for so long and to inconvenience all the local residents

Potholes, 19th March
Several potholes and now I have a burst tyre
Report on FixMyStreet
Several potholes in a group a hundred meters or so past the 30mph signs coming out of Kirkby Malzeard., 17th March
May I suggest that the approach should not be to mark all potholes to be fixed and then do only those, but rather to go along the whole loop of Ringbeck Road from Kirkby all the way back to Grewelthorpe and fix all potholes, broken road edges and minor imperfections in one go which will reduce the need to return again and again to fix more of them. The recent bad weather has caused many potholes to appear which could have been prevented by simple patching before frost and rain got a chance to open them up.
