Several white posts have been placed into the ground and this is making getting to the side of the road for a car is pass very difficult, without causing damage to your own car. Recently I've ended up having to reverse down the hill and round the blind bend and I was so lucky that I didn't get run into causing an accident and cost.

Huge flood every time it rains. It will be impassable tomorrow if expected rain happens, 19th October
Apparently there is a collapsed drain. Council flush it but flood reappears after a shower. It’s been a problem for years

Dreadful flooding at entrance to farm, 19th September
There are two drains which are clearly blocked (council said two years ago one had collapsed and neede repair. Nothing has happened apart from a jet through which only solved the problem for a few months

Drain and flood reported to NYCC over a year ago and still not repaired. The consequent flooding has caused huge pothole. Delivery driver said his whole van shook. The nearby roadsides are thick muddy slurry and dangerous

Fallen retaining wall, 12th May
The retaining wall opposite the Cof E school has collapsed and the rubble remains strewn across the highway as it was some six or more months ago. The diversion is not ideal being bendy and narrow unsuitable for larger vehicles. It is surely unacceptable for the collapse to remain untreated for so long and to inconvenience all the local residents

3 potholes in a line on Ringbeck Road near Ringbeck as you travel towards Kirkby Malzeard., 30th November
3 potholes in a line right where a cyclist would ride near Ringbeck as you come down Ringbeck Road towards Kirkby Malzeard. Car drivers who know they are there will drive on the right to avoid them just where visibility is hampered by a slight rise in the road.which makes them dangerous. The whole "loop" of Ringbeck Road needs attention in places. As well as potholes, there are places where tractors have gouged out the verge so deeply that it is dangerous for any car that drifts off the tarmac.

Broken GPO manole leaving hole in pavement left unfixed fo 3 weeks., 10th May
This broken manhole has left a 2 foot drop down into which a child or pet could fall. Bollard placed on top with roped off area. Been like that for over 3 weeks....about time the cover was replaced as a matter of urgency!
