PROW Impassable, 29th November
Soon after the PROW FP enters the wooded section next to the River Nidd opposite Old Twine Mill it is beset with problems, a lot of the path seems to have slipped into the river, there is one section which is hard to clamber over where a tree has fallen into the river, taking the bank with it, then by the weir the stones are treacherous, it would be so easy to slip into the river and be swept away. Finally where the path crosses Hawkshaw Gill there is no bridge, only a few slippery stones. I gave up trying to get along the rest of the path, and instead cut up through the wood to meet up with the one coming in from Harewell Hall. RouteCode : 15.29/1/4

The Gas board are carrying works opposite the new development which are programmed works not emergency works. They have blocked both pavements with no provision for any pedestrians on either footpath. Pedestrian's are being forced into the live carriageway with is totally wrong and has the potential of a serious accident. The lights they have erected are 100m from another set of traffic lights in the village and due to the parked cars it's carnage with vehicles trapped between the lights. Whoever signed off the section 50 applications needs to take a serious look at themselves, 18th June
There is no allowance for pedestrians walking through the roadworks. There is gas pipe covering the footpath which means pedestrians have to walk in the road. There are open trenches across the footpaths which pedestrian's can walk straight into. There are two sets of traffic lights in 100m,'s of each other which is causing carnage due to the parked cars and the short distance between the lights. You need to sort this mess out.

Parking on turning circle, 4th December
At the end of grange road there is a turning place where 2 cars always park. This makes it very difficult for other residents of grange road to turn their cars round and virtually impossible for delivery vans and lorry to turn around who sometimes have to reverse back down grange road to get back out onto the main road. Can something be done or is it ok for them to park there?

Deep pothole 3feet x 2feet, 2nd February
Potholes appear along the length of School Lane every year, eventually get filled but no proper more permanent resurfacing. The current worst potholes are outside The Old School as in photos. Others are at several locations along the road. There is also road subsidence on south side of road just north west of Raneleigh. On the north side of road in several areas the road is slipping towards the roadside gulley.

Obstructive parking of motor vehicles on pavement and view for vehicles emerging from grange road onto main street, 6th November
Vehicles visiting village shop frequently park on the junction of Grange Road and Main Street and parking across pavement.pedestrians with pushchairs cannot negotiate the footpath, neither can vehicles emerging onto Main Street see oncoming traffic causing dangerous situations!

Two abandoned vehicles, 9th May
On the entrance to the Whinfields estate, Summerbridge both cars have smashed windows, flat tyres and the exhaust pipe has been disconnected on the red Suzuki. Both cars are a health and possible fire hazard.

Abandoned vehicle, 9th November
Blue Ford Focus, BD51 WVW, parked on pavement facing South (wrong side of road) outside house numbers 1&2 Grange Road.(main street) Vehicle has collision damage and probably cannot be driven. Is taxed and not wanted by the police for anything. Has not moved from current location since early August 2015. Is restricting access by prams and wheelchairs to Doctors' Surgery adjacent. Is owned by local resident.

There is an abandoned vehicle on the road side in summerbridge, just past the 30mph signs on the right coming from Ripley. It is a silver Honda Civic (YF51 EFJ) that has been there for approx 4-5 weeks.
