On A61 at bottom of Dove Hill, Wormald Green, a vehicle has left the highway and knocked down a road traffic, brown sign for the Yorkshire Riding Centre. The vehicle is no longer there. There is damage to the kerb and verge, 2nd February

Street light not working, 6th September
The street light has not worked since it was upgraded to LEDs. Since the nights are drawing in, time to get it fixed. It's the light outside. Granary Cottage.

Overgrown verge and hedge blocking footpath, 24th July
The footpath between The George pub and Monkton Moor Garage at the top of the hill is blocked. The overgrown hedge and nettles and one side and the overgrown verge on the other make the footpath impassable. Please could the hedge and the verge be cut. Thank you.

Impassible Footpath due to hedge and weeds, 15th December
The footpath from The George pub up to Monkton Moor garage is completely impassible due to overgrown hedging and weeds. Pedestrians have to walk in the muddy grass next to the path.

Footpath neglected by relevant authorities along A61, 20th September
Location: The footpath running adjacent to and along the western side of the A61 running from The Inn at South Stainley, southbound to the unmade road / track - leading to several residential properties - known as Valley View at HG3 3LZ and also to where the A61 cuts through the old railway embankment. Fatality Risk: This pedestrian footpath (utilised to access the 36 bus stops located near the Inn) is riddled with potholes and overgrown with vegetation which is covering and now beginning to permanently hide the hard pathway, it is not only now slippery with mosses and fallen rotting leaves but the overhanging tree branches are a serious injury risk, particularly to the eyes. The likely hood of a fatality should a pedestrian slip, trip or fall into the A61 whilst on this pavement is very high and repair and regular maintenance is required by the relevant authority to return the pavement to an ongoing safe condition for regular use, particularly in the dark winter months when the wet vegetation is particularly slippery to step onto.

Blocked Drains, 12th September
The drains on the A61 have been blocked with silt for over a year. They now have plants growing out of them. The water running across the A61 causes flooding which is a danger to traffic.

Originally reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 14:37, Sunday 6 January 2019 Pothole has been there for at least 1 month and is increasing in size. It is on the tract of nearside wheels. Reported as above - loose tar put in hole within a couple of days but not sealed. Due to high volume traffic this hole is almost as bad as it was a week ago before repair. The hole is 100 - 150 yards south of bishop monkton cross roads but on north carriageway

Dangerous stretch of potholes, 21st March
The potholes are truly dangerous to any two wheeled vehicle. There is a stretch between the edge of Wormald Green and the left hand side entrance to the large farm going towards Harrogate. They are really large.
