Manhole cover on southbound A3 - w3w - punchy.little.unique, 19th March
The manhole cover is loose. Every time a vehicle goes over it makes a loud bang. It disturbs people trying to sleep in the houses in Raymond Crescent which backs onto the A3.

In central verge - several large growths of Japanese Knotweed. Invasive and controlled plant. Needs eradicating., 6th March
Located in the central verge between north and south bound traffic along the A3 can be found several large growths of Japanese Knotweed. This needs to be eradicated by Highways England. It easily spreads and can damage underground infrastructure such a water, sewage, building foundations (houses and businesses are nearby), electrics, etc. I notice this issues was originally reported in 2021 in the same location. The report was closed by Highways England despite it still being a problem. It has no doubt spread in the last 3 years and is now a bigger issue and will cost more than if it had been dealt with promptly and thoroughly in 2021. Please organise an eradication plan. If it spreads, compensation claims by local property owners could cost you a lot more.

The underpass under the A3 is getting worse and cctv has been smashed. This is a major busy walkway for children, university students and locals , you want us to walk and save the polar bear, but your neglect of maintenance of this area contradicts everything we are being told to do,, please have a look it’s bad probably needs upgrading. Please look.
