Two wide deep potholes., 31st March
Two wide, deep potholes DANGEROUS TO CYCLISTS. Both more than 12 inches in diameter, a good four inches deep with sharp edges. On south side of road in Chobham direction. These have been here for much longer than is acceptable.

Pelican crossing randomly switching on with no pedestrian present, 13th March
The lights have been switching to red (for traffic) in the mornings around 7 am when no pedestrians are in the area. This appears to happen every 30 seconds to 1 minute.

There's a fallen tree across one of the main paths in St John's Lye woods, which has been there since 7 February. It's completely blocking the path so you cannot walk that way.

12 inch pot hole in entrance to garden centre plus tarmac around ironworks crumbling away, 24th January
This pot hole has been here for over 12 month getting progressively worse. It is situated in the entrance to the Gadren Centre (Squires). Also there is raised ironworks which is a result from the tarmac breaking up around it. According to the land registry office the entrance is owned by the highways.

Dangerous trees, 4th January
A very large silver birch tree, situated on the other side of my garden fence, came down in the wind the other night. Since 2019 I have been trying to get the Council to lop these trees. In 2019 a lady called Dot Brown agreed and said that they would be lopped later in the year so when it didn’t happen I contacted her again only to find that she had left and her replacement a Mr. Elsar said that the job wouldn’t now be done as they were no longer thought to be dangerous. Well, events of Tuesday night have proved that this is not the case. If the wind had been in the opposite direction my bungalow would have been hit and I might have been killed. The other trees overhanging my property need to be lopped or removed as soon as possible. I have taken photographs but unfortunately being 86 years old and living on my own, I’m not good with technology and don’t know how to send them to you. You will have to come and look for yourselves. In my opinion this is now urgent. Thank you.

Dead tree overhanging public footpath, 29th December
A dead tree is leaning over the public footpath Viggory Lane. It is only propped up by another tree and in recent high winds is in severe danger of falling on users of the footpath. I have reported this to Horsell Common Preservation Society who may be responsible on two occassions but they have taken no action. I consider this a serious health and safety issue.
