The full stretch from the bridge to this part of Busby Road is littered with potholes and rutted roads. The bridge and other side of Carmunnock Road has recently been resurfaced by East Renfrewshire council. The GCC side of the road is a disgrace and a hazard.

This street was repaired very badly a year ago and the road has just progressively deteriorated since that time. Now a large number of potholes and only access to a number of properties. I am a carer and getting to the stage of having to leave vehicle at top of the road because so bad.

30x17x5 inch pothole on Busby Road, 7th March
This pothole has been growing for months, and the whole road is coming apart. Narrow country road and unavoidable if traffic coming in the opposite direction. Burst 2 tyres. Local garage said they’d had to fix 3 separate cars in the last 10 days due to damage caused by this pothole.
