Neighbours are not putting house hold waste in to the normal bins they are filling up the recycling bins and the birds and foxes are bursting opening the bags and the rubbish is going on the ground and rats have been seen around the area as my dog has chased one. I have reported this to the council and still waiting since January for someone from the wheatley house to contact me as phoned them and emailed them regarding many issues including these recycling bins and domestic rubbish

Mattresses and other household rubbish left outside, 24th April

Neighbours in block 29 are throwing mattresses from top floor on to the grass and dumping washing machines and kids buggies out on the grass without contacting the council for pick up making the area look like a dump

Potholes and poor surface, 22nd March

Pothole near bus stop, lane heading towards Celtic Park, 19th March
Narrow but deep potfole near the bus stop.. hit that with speed in the dark and your car makes a nightly clonk. Thankful Initial hit didn’t break either wheel.

Raised iron works pot hole, 19th March
Everyday and night hgvs are going along it makes the most horrendous banging sound, my sons autistic and it keep him awake the noise scares him it’s so loud, the impact at times is so hard that things in my house are falling off the walls the house shudders so much I’ve got cracks appearing now, I witness 3/5 cars a day on average bursting tyres and needing recovery , it’s an accident waiting to happen and if a hgv is involved god help the houses in it’s path, the road was fixed further up properly fixed this needs the same so we can sleep and stop having panick attacks every time a huge lorry goes across it.

Fly tipping of household waste, 19th February
The fly tipping has been there for at least 2 months, it includes a large quantity of dirty nappies, syringes, syringe box, broken glass bottles, clothing items, and various other household waste items. The problem is severe, I have only been able to add x3 photos but it stretches all along the entire green open space adjacent from Vancouver walk and continues all down green space along sunny bank street, woddrop street, birkwood street. There are also larger items including a broken trampoline, mattress, furniture, a brown council bin, the list could go on forever. All of these items are potentially hazardous to the environment and community especially as an area with lots of young children and dogs. I have previously contacted the council but nothing has been done unfortunately. Myself and others in the community including school have been litter picking to reduce the problem but there are hazardous waste items and large items that need removed by the council. The area need to be put under fly tipping investigation immediately.
