Leaf clearing of pavement, 2nd December

Wed, 02 Dec 2020 11:55:19 +0000
55.969619 -4.007915

This short area of pavement used to be kept clear on a regular basis by the local council but now I have to ask them every year to have it cleared before the ice and snow make it even worse than it is. The pavement cleaner cleans all the other pavements in the area but drives past this one without stopping. The road is very narrow and it is an annual hazard.

Surface water, 22nd September

Thu, 22 Sep 2016 09:41:10 +0100
55.988584 -3.967295

Water pooling on BOTH corners at entrance to Coneypark Crescent. Falkirk Council have been informed of this, (many times). This area could freeze in coming months and be a danger to motorists. I believe in case of an accident the motor insurance company can hold the council accountable IF road conditions are a factor.

Slow traveling First Bus, 14th May

Sat, 14 May 2016 09:58:04 +0100
55.980757 -4.004224

Has anyone else been held up on the A803 between Banknock and Kilsyth by First Bus. My experience is they travel this route sometimes as low as 20mph, I believe this is to stop arriving early/timetable in Kilsyth, safer to WAIT at bus stop, in my opinion. I have contactacted First Bus reguarding this, I was told there "HIGHLY TRAINED DRIVERS" cannot go any faster on this section of road, to many bends, passangers safty and passenger loading (STANDING PASSENGERS). All of the buses I have seen have had less than two passengers. In my opinion they dont care about other road users.

Path to Childs playpark., 12th October

Mon, 12 Oct 2015 12:12:20 +0100
55.989988 -3.968484

I have been told Falkirk Council DONT accept reports from FIXMYSTREET, but to contact them direct via contact.centre@falkirk.gov.uk when you do this it is ignored, i have tried. The area I have complained about, is a muddy churned up path impassable to walkers, it leads to playing field and childerns play area, but Falkirk Council dont care. The water runs into this hollow in bad weather, it is then used as a bus turning area and by Falkirk Council Ground Service trucks making it impassable. what would a few tons of hardcore cost?

Eastbound carrageway floods during heavy rain, seems to be water off field, ongoing problem over a year. This morning Friday 17th the flooding was cause of serious accident, car forced off road and down embankment. Would have thought, after length of time this fault has lasted Road engineers would have solved it, drain under road taking water down embankment?

Pot holes, 3rd April

Fri, 03 Apr 2015 10:42:53 +0100
55.98844 -3.968218

Pot hole, surface breaking up around drain on north side of carrageway. Road surface also breaking up on southside of road, bits of tar flying off car wheels. These holes are near 30mph sign on road. Drain at entrance to Coneypark Crescent NOT clearing all surface water from corner, drain higher than surounding road. When road is muddy, with trucks from earthworks at Cowdenhill, a puddle forms on corner. This is splashed over people waiting to get to bus stop. Carrageway repaired near new quarry entrance, and this part of road ignored. Was repair for the conveniance of new quarry owners?

Drain higher than surrounding area, 26th March

Thu, 26 Mar 2015 12:14:02 +0000
55.98856 -3.967574

There is a section of road at entrance to Coneypark Crescent at the A803, this section at times has a large puddle of water. I believe this is due to the drain being raised from surrounding roadway. i was informed in the past that this section of road was scheduled for resurfacing, is it possable for this fault to be resolved at same time, thank you.
