Speed Camara Cover Up, 4th May
I'm just a normal human being and simple. But why in the age off cut all speed limits , road safety for all and safer roads would a speed camaraderie covered over with large writing of " not in use " beggar's belief ass to why highlight its not in use on an extremely busy road. This has a knock on effect to people's attitudes to approaching the light's and as they are now free to drive at any speed on approach and drive through meaning getting out of Rouken Glen Garden centre / park is like a game of chicken or Russian Roulette to survive. Is this a game to the road department or pure non understanding of traffic flow on two lanes, busy roads. Or is this the masterplan for eventual cycle lane, road narrowing on the grounds of cars now speeding , crazy policy, crazy implemention and chance taking with people's life's. 1 Mile up the road was a mobile speed camara which suggests there is a problem with speeding ??.....I think the department needs to get out more and gain real life experience of the situation before you attribute to road deaths

Filter is rubbish, 4th May
Having reported this filter previously and getting a reply saying there is nothing wrong with it, I can assure you , what you have done to it is not working and the filter rarely being deployed whether your sat there waiting to turn right or not. Somethings changed and it's not for the better. I turn right here at least 10 times a day and bot once has it come on. I come out of these lights 10 times a day and sit waiting and watching out of amusement and guess what, it doesn't come on for other either so they are left to make a dash for it. My dash cam is set up waiting for the proverbial crash at which point I will offer the footage and correspondence of all communication previously . What ever you think you have done , go back and correct it back to the original settings

Seriously Speeding Vehicles, 1st May
Living on Merrylee Park Avenue we know that the road at certain times of day can be predictably busy with general through traffic , school buses, school children walking to and from school and a generally older population in the vicinity going about there business. How ever the amount of excessive speeding coming from Fenwick Road or Braidbar Road going in each direction is terrifying and it is only a matter of time before somebody is killed in the process. One particular where Mercedes must be hitting 80 mph ( guesstimate) each Monday afternoon at approximately 2.50 pm. Maybe going to pick kids up from the primary school just down the road. I will try and get a video next Monday. How do we go about introducing some sort of speed restrictions for this road ? There is also a blind hump in the road which means it's pure luck nobody is coming out of the drives or crossing the road. My 89 mother crosses the road to simply go shopping and have her hair done and is now terrified to step off the pavement for the idiots who think this is acceptable ?? Please can you put in the right direction for help before somebody gets killed.

More wardens needed to penalise people parking in new disabled bays and the "Tesco" carpark in the inshot at entrance to station and roof carpark. Lorries cannot get down slope to deliver goods either

Several potholes between approximately Number 50 and Number 70. Another pothole outside Number 40. There are other potholes starting to emerge. A number of loose large stones also strewn over the road which appear to have been used as “fillers” which constitute a danger to cyclists and pedestrians crossing the road., 22nd April
The potholes were previously filled in with stones and tar but the potholes have begun to appear again.

10/15 potholes need filled in various sizes., 18th April
From braid holm road entrance to Merryburn AVE there are at least 10/15 potholes that need filled in all the way up to number 70. These are getting bigger and bigger with the amount of traffic driving through this road.
