Pothole around manhole cover, 22nd February
I'm unsure how long this has been here. It's directly opposite the entrance road to the Shell garage/Starbucks.
It looks as if there has been an attempt to repair a hole which has resulted in a manhole cover in the middle of a large square, but the surrounding surface has shifted causing an undulation immediately prior to the pothole. So effectively your tyres go up before fall down the pothole.

Deep vertical pothole by grate coming off motorway roundabout, 28th March
Just coming off the roundabout, heading south along the A84 there is a massive pothole with vertical sides of definitely more than 60cm, right by the first grate. (There are similar but smaller potholes by the next two grates.) This is right where cyclists need to cycle. Vertical sides are particularly dangerous for cyclists because the vertical far side of a deep pothole can cause a cyclist to go over the handlebars. I remind you of the definition of a Category 1 road defect: “Category 1 defects are those that require prompt attention because they represent an immediate or imminent hazard to road users. They include potholes or abrupt level differences in the carriageway surface of more than 40mm (measured vertically) or missing or badly damaged ironwork with large openings (grating / gully lids, manholes, etc.)." This pothole is definitely a Category 1 Road defect and should be fixed temporarily or permanently within 12 hours, and permanently within 20 working days.
