The pavement on the other side of the Railway Inn is not able to be used in wet weather as the wet branches hang low and force pedestrians on to the carriageway

Sunken manhole, 23rd July
Travelling towards Bonnybridge, on the left of the carriageway, there is a sunken manhole. As a result, where the tarmac meets the metal cover, there is a sharp ridge, which cars are swerving to avoid.
Like the nearby sunken manhole which I reported weeks ago, this is also on a fairly recently laid (2009) stretch of tarmac and is disappointing.

Very poorly adjusted manhole, 29th June
The road passing Underwood Lockhouse has been repaired to what I would say is an average standard. However, travelling towards Bonnybridge, just after the entrance to the car park, there is a manhole cover that is so poorly adjusted that there is a severe bump in the tarmac, sending a shock through the car structure. This needs to be re-set urgently, in my opinion.
