Due to heavy trucks constantly going in and out if airth. The road surface on main street from Kennedy way to the golf range and past it is heavily pitted uneven and extremely dangerous. This has been ongoing for years but now is unrepairable. Road Surface NEED REPLACED AND not the pathetic gravel layer they put down last year. Which is also breaking up. Shocks replaced and control of steering is affected due to severe pitting of road surface.

The barrier on the south side of the Bellsdyke Road at the junction with the Letham Road has been once again been uprooted and bent by a vehicle. The Road Department replaced this in the recent past so it is your responsibility unfortunately not Transport Scotland even though it borders the M9.

At the junction of the Letham road and the A905 small potholes are starting to open up. These have been caused, I believe, by the extra heavy lorry traffic taking soil to the old Waterslap Open Cast site opposite Waterslap Farm. Fix them now and avoid a bigger job later.

Airth Castle encourage dog owners to the hotel but do not have a facility for disposing of dog mess as a result owners are walking their dogs, picking up the mess and then discarding the bags on the walk back up to the castle (at rear of castle). The problem has been gradually worsening.

The grassy area where the pumping station is located near to Letham Terraces still has the remains of a bonfire from November. The rubbish lying about the grass contains sharp metal, this week someone has dumped more rubbish on the bonfire and set it a light. The general state of this grassy area is poor, there's an abundance of dog mess and the trees to back of it contain a lot of dumped rubbish.

Ditch/burn runs under road and needs cleaned or replaced with a pipe. It has completely flooded across the road make it almost impassable to cars. This happens even with a small amount of rain and has been like this for years but is getting progressively worse as each year passes. The flood water is now going into people's gardens.
